Back to Back Straddle

Technique:

  1. Both partners sit with straight backs leaning against each other.
  2. Spread legs as wide as possible
  3. Both partners reach behind and hold onto the upper thighs of the other partner.
  4. Breathe into this position whilst continuing to straighten the spine.
  5. Pull gently on your partner's thighs so that you increase the contact with your partner's body from your buttocks to your head.

Health Benefits:

Straightens and supports the spine. Excellent for achieving a more upright posture. Good stretch of hamstrings which help with lower back problems.
